Girl Scouts
Welcome to Girl Scout Troop 2074!
We meet at the St. Johns United Methodist Church every other Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Our troop is a combination of all levels of girls from Brownies through Cadette. A girl can become a girl scout once she becomes a kindergartener. All levels are based on school grade level not age.
Activities
Our troop is involved in many activities. We do crafts, sell cookies, attend several Kingman Girl Scout Neighborhood activities such as Thinking Day, Halloween Party and Christmas Party. To end the year we do a swim party.
Although our troop has not been camping as of yet we are planning a camp out for next year. The Cactus Pine Council which is the main council for Kingman is located in Phoenix. They have many activities such as weekend camp outs, summer camps and many day activies that our troop has also attended.
Girl Scouts meet the same dates as a school calendar. We will be ending this year at the end of May and will resume when school starts. There are several girl scout troops in the Kingman area and they meet on different days, in case our meeting date and time does not fit into your schedule.

Community
We also are involved in our community. We do Christmas Caroling at the Gardens, collect baby food for the shelter and animal food for the shelter here in town. We also visited St. John's pumpkin patch! We have been in several parades as well. Such as the Andy Devine Parade and the Veterans day parade.
Dues
Most troops have dues every meeting however it is limited. Troop 2074 asks each girl to bring 50 cents a meeting. This goes into the troop account. We do this to teach the girls the responsibility of bringing the dues and also when we do an activity they plan the budget.
Schedule
See the schedule for Boy/Girl Scouts.
